If your HOA software vendor takes 9 to 12 months for a simple change, if homeowners call your staff for every balance and document, or if residents cannot see what is free to book, the cases below are yours: an owner and board app built on top of a property management system that stayed in place, and a condo platform modernized for eight years while it kept serving its accounts. A software audit from $5,000 tells you what to keep, what to replace and what the change will cost. More property work is on the proptech case studies and real estate software case studies pages.

Brocoders built MyRedDog, a progressive web app for C.I.A. Services, which manages 150 associations in Houston and San Antonio. Homeowners and board members see live account, compliance and document data pulled from the company's RedDog system, so staff stopped fielding those calls.

Quick Answers to Common Questions

Who builds HOA management software?

Brocoders builds and modernizes HOA and condo management software for the companies that run associations and for the product companies that sell to them. For C.I.A. Services, an HOA management company with 150 associations in Houston and San Antonio, we built MyRedDog, the owner and board app on its RedDog property management system. For CondoGenie, a Canadian condo management SaaS, we have run the modernization since 2018: amenity booking, maintenance requests, dues and invoice views, board voting and document libraries, with Stripe and Xero integrations.

Who builds an owner portal on top of an existing property management system without replacing it?

We did this for C.I.A. Services. MyRedDog pulls live account, financial, compliance and document data from the RedDog NextGen system and the company's website, registers owners against their existing account PINs, and gives owners, multi-lot owners, board members and staff different access levels. RedDog stayed in place.

Our vendor will not build the features we need. Can you replace the platform without losing residents?

Yes, in three steps: a fixed-price discovery that maps your data, the migration plan and what to keep or drop; a replacement built with resident accounts and permissions by resident type; and a period where the old and new platforms run side by side until you switch. We quote a timeline after discovery, not before. If your current vendor's product already does what your residents ask for, keep it; we will say so in the discovery report.

Can you build amenity booking that shows what is free, with booking rules and no double bookings?

CondoGenie's amenity module does this in production: residents see availability, and booking rules apply per amenity and resident type. For a new community platform we build the same module against your access-control and payment vendors' APIs.
