      Reinventing our old-hat company website

Backed by multi-year corporate website development expertise and almost 100 projects under our belt, we reinvented our site to keep pace with modern trends

      Quick Answers to Common Questions

What types of backends does Brocoders build with Node.js?

RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, WebSocket servers for real-time features, microservices, BFF layers for frontend apps, and background job processors. Node.js is Brocoders' primary backend choice for new JavaScript-stack projects.

How does Node.js handle high-concurrency workloads?

Node's event-driven, non-blocking I/O model makes it well-suited for high-concurrency use cases like real-time messaging, streaming, and API gateways. CPU-intensive tasks are offloaded to worker threads or background queues to avoid blocking the event loop.

What frameworks does Brocoders use with Node.js?

NestJS for structured, enterprise-grade APIs; Express for lightweight services; Fastify for performance-sensitive endpoints. Framework selection depends on team size, API complexity, and long-term maintainability requirements.

Is Node.js a good choice for a startup building an API backend?

Yes — especially when the team already has frontend JavaScript expertise. The shared language across stack reduces context switching and hiring complexity. For teams with no strong language preference, Node.js with NestJS is one of Brocoders' default recommendations.
